I had no prior coding experience. But I had curiosity and time.

In three months, I went from a Google Doc to building an AI agent that helps people stay connected with their network.

UNBORING watches the rhythm of your relationships and alerts you when someone important might be going quiet.

I used Claude and Claude Code to bring the idea to life.

In a world that often creates anxiety around networking and career growth, I wanted to build something that reduces it.

UNBORING removes the pressure to constantly check LinkedIn or worry about missing opportunities. Instead, it quietly watches your network and sends a weekly email with the people who might be worth reconnecting with. You only open the app when it matters, so you can spend the rest of your time actually living your life.

Beyond the product itself, I built the entire brand: the name, positioning, and tone of voice.

I also wrote a series of internal documents I called the “brain” and the “soul” of the product, defining how the AI agent should talk and behave.

The entire system:

  • Connect Gmail (5 min)

  • Dashboard shows your network health

  • Monday email: who needs attention

  • Mid-week alert: who's going quiet

  • AI draft: what to say

  • Reply detection: did it work

No events. No introductions. No "warm intros." Just the relationships you already have, maintained by data instead of guilt.

Along the way, I learned how to collaborate with AI the same way I would with a very smart creative partner.

UNBORING is proof of how far creatives can go today with curiosity and resilience.

We’re no longer limited to formats.
